Rapid flashing indicates a defective or deeply discharged cell in the battery. We recommend disposing of the battery.
If the battery is relatively new and only deeply discharged, you can try to "reactivate" the cell with another charger.
Can I charge two iPads at the same time?
Yes, in this case the Pads connected to the Super+ ports are charged fast with 2.1A.
I own a MacBook Air that is charged with USB-C and only with 30 watts. Can I also use a tizi USB-C power adapter that provides more watts?
The answer is clear: yes. USB-C devices use the PD, Power Delivery standard for charging. Here, the device, such as the MacBook Air, asks the tizi power adapter how many watts the tizi power adapter could provide at most. Then the charging controller starts in the MacBook Air and actively draws exactly the power it needs to charge. If, for example, only 30 watts are needed, the MacBook Air only draws 30 watts. A more powerful tizi power adapter can therefore never harm a USB-C device. The device itself decides on the power consumption.
What’s the difference between the High Power USB port and the Normal USB port?
The High Power port is for devices which support Apple’s High Power specification. That means, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus charge double as fast on this port as they would their supplied charging cables from Apple.
This is also a great charging port for the iPad. The Normal port is best for all other devices with smaller capacity batteries: such as older iPhone generations, Android devices, digital cameras or the Kindle. In short, all devices which can be charged via the USB port or a Mac or PC.

If you don't use your tizi Kraftprotz Powerstart for a longer period of time, we recommend not to keep it fully charged.
A fully charged, unused battery looses capacity over time. It is therefore recommended to recharge the battery once every three months.
Which types of battery can I charge up with the tizi LAADAAA?
The tizi LAADAAA is compatible with Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH), LSD Nickel Metal Hydride (LSD NiMH), and Nickel Cadmium (NiCd) batteries in AA (Mignon R6 HR6 KR6) or AAA (Micro R03 HR03 KR03) size. (Not included in the box contents.) You can enter one singular battery or two at a time and you can charge just one battery sort, or a mix of both - whatever you prefer.

Older iPhones charge on tizi USB-C power supplies (tizi Tankstation USB-C, tizi Tankstelle USB-C and Turbolader ULTRA) both on the USB-A port and on the USB-C port. When using the USB-C port, the tizi flip ULTRA or Apple USB-C to Lightning cable is absolutely necessary. This cable is only available from certified manufacturers such as tizi or from Apple itself, as they install Apple's own circuits there. Other providers on Amazon etc. often offer fakes that cannot be used.

Revision 2 of tizi beat bag compares to Revision 1 by featuring an automatic reconnect. Also, you don't have to enter a code while connecting with bluetooth devices, which support Simple Secure Pairing. This means that with all iOS devices, except with iPhone 3G, you don't have to enter a code, if you want to connect with your tizi beat bag. tizi beat bag Revision 2 also provides slightly different system sounds.

In order to connect your tizi beat bag Rev. 2 with a bluetooth device, please open "Setings > General" and select tizi beat bag. Usually you don't have to enter a confrimation number. Why is tizi Turbolader 3x not charging my iPad?
tizi Turbolader has two fixed High Power- and a Full Power-Port.
The first Full Power-Port is the iPad Port: Here your iPad will charge fastest. This port is also suitable for iPhone
The second port is a Samsung Port: This port is specifically for the Samsung Tab or other USB Gadgets.
The third port is a USB Standard Port. This port is suitable for iPhone, other phones, Tabs and most USB devices.

When should I use the "Refresh" or "Quick jump start" method?
The refresh option is gentler for the tizi Kraftprotz and is an effective way of extending its life. You’ll need at least 15 minutes for this option.
The refresh option is for all suitable car types.
The quick jump start option is only recommended for smaller cars. Each quick jump start uses a lot of energy and is a wearing process. This method is only recommended for when it really has to be fast.
My tizi USB-C power adapter charges my iPad/iPhone very slowly via Lightning cable. Is my power adapter defective?
No, your tizi power adapter is not defective.
A small "operating system" runs on the Lightning cable from tizi or Apple, which controls the communication between the device to be charged and the tizi power adapter. This cable should not remain permanently connected to the power adapter if no iPhone or iPad is connected as a consumer. Therefore, always unplug the Lightning cable when you are not charging.
If the cable is permanently operated on the power adapter, there is a trick to restart the Lightning cable: connect the end device once, then disconnect it. The Lightning cable will now reset. Then connect it normally for very fast charging.
What is the Bluetooth PIN of the tizi beat bag? Can I change it?
The PIN is 0000 and cannot be changed.

The tizi LAADAAA manual states that the product only supports NiMh batteries. The website also mentions NiCd batteries. What is correct?
Unfortunately, an error occurred in the first edition of the manual. Only NiMh batteries were mentioned by mistake. tizi LAADAAA also supports NiCd batteries. The updated manual is available at my.tizi.tv.
My tizi Flachmann is full, but my device isn't charging. What can I do?
When not in use, tizi Flachmann switches to a mode to save energy. To start charging again, just disconnect and reconnect the charging cable from tizi Flachmann.

Why do I have to reconnect every time? Why doesn’t tizi beat bag connect automatically to my iPad / iPhone / iPod touch when I turn it on?
Automatically connecting Bluetooth speakers when turned on often leads to unwanted side effects in daily use. Someone turns on tizi beat bag and your audio output (and even the phone ringing) would be automatically redirected to your tizi beat bag. We think this function only makes sense with Bluetooth earbuds, not with speakers.
Therefore, actively select tizi beat bag under Bluetooth if you want to hear the audio output on tizi beat bag after turning it on.

I always have to re-connect to my beat bag. Is this normal? Why doesn’t the beat bag connect automatically?
This is feature was included in order to avoid an automatic, unwanted connection with the beat bag.
My Flachmann Ultra does not charge my iPhone anymore.
This could be because of the cable. The cable may potentially be broken or damaged - possibly torn from being pulled too strongly.
How can I prevent this from happening? Do not just let the Flachmann Ultra dangle on the iPhone. Always place the tizi Flachmann Ultra behind the iPhone and hold them together in your hands. Cable breaks usually result from improper handling and are not covered by the warranty.
How do I know that tizi Kraftprotz is fully charged?

What is the difference between the two power ports: Super Plus and Super?

In order to save power, you can turn of the LEDs while charging your iPhone. To do so, press the on/off switch once.

Are 2A available per port? I want to charge 1 devices at the same time like an iPhone 7 Plus and an iPad Air. Is this possible?
Yes, with the tizi Tankstelle (2 Ports), you can use a maximum of 2.4A per port. There is a total of 4A available per tizi Tankstelle (2 Ports). For instance: an iPhone can charge with 1.6A, while simultaneously charging an iPad with 2.4A, totaling in 4A. Or you can charge both an iPhone with 2A and an iPad with 2A concurrently, totaling in 4A.
My tizi Toploader sits quite loosely in the mounting ring. When unplugging the cable, I pull it out of the table.
If the tizi Toploader sits too loosely in the ring, wrap one or two layers of tape around the Toploader and insert it into the ring.
The same applies to the ring: If the hole has been drilled slightly too large, simply wrap tape around the ring to secure the ring firmly in the piece of furniture.

To charge iOS devices like iPhone and iPad, please attach the lightning connector on top of the Micro USB connector of the Schlitzohr. tizi Schlitzohr will only charge your device if the Adapter is properly attached.
My tizi cable no longer charges my device. What can I do?
You should clean the contacts of cables from time to time. Contact spray (Amazon Link) is suitable for cleaning both connector ends.
With flip cables, you should also make sure that both contact sides are cleaned in the USB-A connector. Due to the flip functionality, both sides of the connector are provided with contacts on one plate.
With Lightning connectors, the contacts are very tight. Even fine dirt such as dust can reduce or interrupt the charging and conductivity. Often the cable is not to blame. It then helps to use a compressed air spray to blow into the Lightning socket of the iPhone or iPad to remove this dirt.

USB-C is a new connector type, which largely replaces the previous square USB-A connector.

Yes you can! The tizi LAADAAA was specially designed to enable you to charge your batteries as flexible as possible. You can insert just one AA or AAA battery, or two AA / AAA. If you prefer, you can also charge a mixture of AA and AAA batteries together. As all batteries work to a different capacity depending on sort and manufacturer, it's possible that one battery will be fully charged before the other, which is, of course, no problem at all.
How can I recognize the charge level?
tizi beat bag has a status LED on the side for the charging status. During charging, it lights up red and turns green once the battery of your tizi beat bag is fully charged.
Of course, you can also leave tizi beat bag permanently connected to the charger for stationary use. Intelligent circuits automatically interrupt the charging current once the battery is fully charged.
Which devices can I connect to the tizi Flip Ultra cable?
You can connect any device with a lightning connector with the tizi Flip ULTRA cable. The charging speed will be automatically adjusted to the end device, so even smaller devices like for example the Apple Remote, Keyboards or the Apple Magic Mouse can be connected without problems.

Please check if your cable is authentic. USB-C to Lightning cables must be Apple Mfi certified. There are regular problems with uncertified cables. The reason for this is that both connectors include proprietary chips. Unfortunately a lot of these "fake Chinese cables" are offered on eBay and Amazon.

Yes, the tizi flip USB-C is fully compatible with the iPad Pro (2018).
Is the Diesel port suitable for charging a second iPad?
Yes, the Diesel port is suitable for this. But unfavorable because of the USB standard specifications. It is better to charge an iPad at the "Super" or "Normal" port, as the iPad can decide here to charge with 1A charging current (This defines the iPad, athough the "Normal" port would offer 2A). This ist the advantage of "Super Plus", as the iPad gets here the maximum 2,1A.
Is the tizi tank adapter compatible with the Oral-B iO 9 travel case or the Oral-B Genius X travel case?
The tizi Tank Nozzle is unfortunately not compatible with the Oral-B travel cases. Oral-B devices have a higher energy requirement than normal shavers.
Is the tizi tank adapter compatible with the Braun Clean&Charge stations?
The tizi Tankrüssel was developed for the mobile charging of Braun compatible devices. Braun Clean&Charge stations are stationary cleaning and charging stations that consume a lot of power. The Tankrüssel is therefore not compatible with these stations. To operate the Braun Clean&Charge stations, please use the included Braun 110/220V adapter.
Of course, only the corresponding Braun shaver can be charged with the tizi Tankrüssel.
What should I pay attention to when connecting a USB cable to tizi Tankstation Toploader?
With the Toploader, you should generally avoid load on the cable to the device. Since the Toploader is fixed and does not "move with" (unlike a stand-alone charger such as the Tankstation 5x MEGA).

My USB-A port always only lights up blue, is the gas station defective?
The LED on the USB-A port is always blue when used with iPhone & iPad, both in fast charging mode (2.4A) and in normal charging mode (1A). This is due to the construction. A red LED is only displayed on Android devices that support the QC protocol.
Why should I purchase tizi cables? There are also very cheap (China) cables on marketplaces like Amazon or eBay?
Cheap cables can only be produced by saving on the copper content in the cable. The copper content of these cheap China cables is therefore usually very low. Our test purchases revealed a sometimes devastating picture: at high charging performance, this can lead to heating of the cable and, in the worst case, to fire. It is therefore strongly advised not to save money when buying cables. For little money you always get little copper.

My iPhone 13 Pro Max, 13 Pro, 13, 12 Pro Max, 12 Pro, 12, 11 Pro Max, 11 Pro, 11, SE, X, XS, XS, Xr Max charges very quickly up to 80% and then slowly. Why?
All iPhones with fast charging (Power Delivery with tizi flip ULTRA or Apple Lightning to USB-C cable) charge very quickly up to 80%. From around 80%, the iPhone's operating system generally reduces the charging speed. How much this reduction is depends on the device's operating temperature. The iPhone further reduces the charging function if it generates a lot of heat.
A cold environment or targeted cooling of the iPhone (e.g. removing it from the case, placing it on a cold surface or even using cooling packs) then helps to continue fast charging even from 80%.
The connector of my tizi Tankrüssel is difficult to insert into my Braun device. Am I doing something wrong?
Please first check if your Braun device is compatible. The tizi Tankrüssel works with the following models:
- Braun shavers: Series 9, 7, 5, 3
- Braun epilators: Series 9, 7, 5
Note: Not compatible with Braun cleaning stations.
With some Braun devices, the tizi Tankrüssel connector may be slightly harder to insert. Make sure to insert it just far enough for the pins to make contact and for your device to start charging. Excessive force is not necessary.
Is this cable suitable for recovering Macs with M1 chips?
For the recovery of Apple’s M1 Macs, it is necessary to use a cable without Thunderbolt functionality. The tizi flip USB-C | USB-C (2m, black) is compatible for this purpose.
The tizi flip PRO (100W) has Thunderbolt functionality and is therefore not suitable for the recovery of M1 Macs.
Does Apple MagSafe work with tizi products?
tizi products work with the Apple MagSafe Qi charger. It is important to use a tizi charger with a USB-C PD output.

The iPad Pro (2018) has a USB-C port. The tizi flip USB-C cable or the Apple USB-C cable are recommended as connection cables. The use of cheap China cables is strongly discouraged. Cheap cables can only be produced by saving on the copper content in the cable. The copper content of these cheap cables is usually too low and can lead to heating or fire of the cable.
Is it dangerous to leave the tizi Turbolader plugged in?
No, your tizi Turbolader fulfills all applicable standards (CE, FCC, RoHS) and is protected against surges, overheating, and over charging. The use of power in standby is so minimal and causes no problem for your car battery.

The tizi Schlitzohr is not suitable for quick charging via USB-C Power Delivery, as it works using a USB-A connector. It is possible to charge USB-C devices with the tizi Schlitzohr, but in this case, USB Standard protocol is used and the device will charge at a maximum of around 12W.

Please pay attention to only use Apple Mfi certified cables. There are regular problems with uncertified cables. How does it affect your devices? Your devices will not charge, or maybe only charge a little bit. In addition, Apple can switch with any iOS update, which can potentially make not licensed cables inactive. Try to refrain from purchasing uncertified USB-C to lightning cables from unauthorized international sellers.
Is fast charging with tizi charging devices harmful to my smartphone battery? Can this damage the battery in my iPhone/iPad?
iPhones and iPads are *not* "dumb" batteries that get connected to a charger. Some people may believe this and there are various myths on the internet about this. Where does this theory come from? It might originate from charging standard AA or AAA household batteries. In this scenario, the charger is actively doing the charging and the battery is "dumb" and gets charged. Here, in the worst case scenario, the battery can be destroyed by charging it wrong.
Apple and all modern smartphone manufacturers use active charging control mechanisms with in their devices. The iPhone/iPad or smartphone actively decides how much current to use and which energy gets requested from the charger. In no case will a tizi device "push" a certain amount of power into an iPhone/iPad or smartphone!
How can a tizi charger always provide iPhone / iPads with maximum fast performance?
The best way to imagine this is as follows: When plugged in, an iPhone / iPad uses a communication protocol to ask the power supply about the maximum power that can be drawn. Our tizi charging devices (Tankstelle, Tankstation, Turbolader, Kraftprotz, etc.) respond correctly and the iPhone / iPad starts to charge. Initially maybe with 500mA, then 1A, then with 2.4A etc. Depending on the model and the current charge level, but also on the battery temperature of the iPhone / iPad, the Apple charge controller decides actively and independently how much power should be drawn.
Thanks to the above-mentioned exchange about the maximum power, the Apple charging controller can be sure that it will get this power at any time over the charging period.
What do tizi chargers do better than "standard" or cheap power supplies?
Power supplies can have errors or problems at different levels. Here are two classic examples:
- With cheaper power adapters, the communication protocol is often missing, meaning the adapter and the iPhone / iPad are unable to communicate properly. If an iPhone / iPad gets a strange result from the power supply when the performance data is exchanged (e.g. the protocols of both devices do not understand each other), then an iPhone only charges with a maximum of 500mA, which is very very slow. In this case, the iPad will show the "Not charging" message. The iPhone / iPad does this in order to prevent the power supply from becoming overloaded.
- Another problem is possible overload - leading to a fire hazard. For example, this could occur if the cheap power supply tells the iPhone / iPad that it is able to charge up to 2.4A. If an iPad then requests this current during the charging process, the power supply will become overloaded. In the best case, it will simply turn off. However, it could also overheat and catch fire.

During normal use, a 60W charger like the tizi Tankstation USB-C + 3 USB-A (75W) or the tizi Tankstelle 60W USB-C is sufficient to achieve comparable charging speeds as the original charger from Apple.
I would like to use a tizi USB-C PD product for fast charging my iPhone/iPad. What should I be aware of?
For fast charging you need a tizi or Apple Lightning to USB-C cable. Buy this cable from a brand manufacturer like tizi. No-name suppliers often times offer fake china cables which do not work!
When charging, plug the cable into the Lightning jack on your iPhone / iPad and then into the USB-C jack on your tizi device.

Which version of Power Delivery (PD) does my tizi product use?
For charging, we use version PD 2.0 in the USB-C port. In general, versions 2.0 and 3.0 of Power Delivery are congruent in the charging power area.
Version 3.0 only brings additional information and functions, such as reporting overtemperature or voltage drops, etc.
How long does the battery last and how do I know if it is damaged?
In our tizi Powerbank products (tizi Kraftprotz and tizi Flachmann) Lithium Ion batteries are installed. Lithium Ion batteries lose more or less of their total performance over time, depending on the frequency of use and charging behavior. You will notice over time that you no longer get as many charges out of your tizi product as you did at the start. This is a natural aging process, but it is not critical.
When should you dispose of your tizi product?
- If you notice any unusual behavior. For example, if the
- battery starts to swell and the housing is warped. Alternatively, of course, if the performance no longer meets your needs.
Why don't tizi USB-C chargers support Android Qualcomm QuickCharge / QC2.0 / 3.0?
Compatibility with Qualcomm QuickCharge / QC would reduce the performance when charging Apple iPads. We strongly advise Apple users to stay away from USB-C chargers with QC standard. In some cases, the QC protocol overrides communication with Apple iPads, which means that the best charging performance will not be achieved.
With the tizi USB-C power delivery chargers, we have deliberately decided not to integrate QC. The power supply is designed to be fully optimized for Apple users.
